The IQAir GC Series is a specialized line of advanced air cleaning devices that
meets almost any gas phase removal need in residential, commercial or medical
environments.
Since different gaseous contaminants can only be effectively removed with specialized gas phase media, the IQAir GC series is available with special gas phase media configurations.
Gas Cartridge Technology: The IQAir GC Series uses four filter cartridges to hold 11-13 lbs. of gas phase media. The cylindrical shape of these cartridges allows for optimum contact between the air and gas phase media, which ensure high removal efficiencies. The large surface area of the cartridges enables high air flow rates.
High-Efficiency Particulate Filtration: The particulate filtration in GC units compliments the gaseous filtration process by removing over 97% of particulates before they can reach the gas phase media. This increases the efficiency and life of the media by preventing it's pores from clogging with particles. The GC units' overall filtration efficiency for particles is 99% at 0.3 microns.
Advanced Controls: The IQAir GC gives you full control of your unit including 5 fan speeds, a programmable timer and a remote control. A sophisticated filter life monitoring system calculates the remaining life of each individual filter.

The IQAir Cleanroom Purifier
Designed specifically for professional environments requiring the removal of
solid and liquid airborne particles.
Each IQAir Cleanroom system can be used as a recirculation device or can be
connected to special ducting adapters to create positive or negative pressure
environments. These pressure environments are particularly beneficial for the
containment of harmful microorganisms and particles or, for the protective
isolation of immuno-compromised patients.

The IQAir Dental
Series
Microbiological Air Contaminants: Generated during the dental procedure,
from drilling or the use of ultrasonic scaling equipment, tiny particles of
blood, saliva and filling particulate between 0.5 and 5 microns in size are
released into the air. Light enough to stay airborne for hours, these particles
are easily inhaled and are a possible source infection. With an efficiency of
99% on particles of 0.3 microns in size, the IQAir Dental Series can easily
eliminate these contaminants.
Mercury (Hg): Studies show that dentists and their staff have higher than
average levels of Mercury (Hg) in their blood and urine. Mercury vapor is not
only released and possibly inhaled when dental amalgam is placed, but also when
these fillings are removed.
Disinfectants: Chemical disinfectants are being used in the dental
practice to decontaminate hands, instruments and surfaces. Many potentially
harmful toxins are released into the air as well as unpleasant odors.
Latex Allergens: The use of protective latex gloves can cause allergic
reactions due to body contact or inhalation of latex allergens. These allergens
adhere to the talcum powder particles of the gloves and can thus become
airborne.
X-Ray Development Chemicals: Several organic chemicals are used in the
development of x-ray films that give off gases that can contribute to the
contamination of the ambient air in the dental environment.
